NP Nutura Introduces Water Soluble Maqui Berry Juice Powder

Oct. 29, 2009
NP Nutra has produced a water soluble Maqui Juice Powder which is made at NP Nutra’s  facility in South America, close to where the purple Maqui berries are harvested each year in the fall.Maqui berries have astonishing levels of antioxidants, including anthocyanins, delphinidin, malvidin, petunidin, cumarins, triterpenes, flavonoids, and cyanidin. They are also a good source of vitamin C, calcium, potassium, and iron. Maqui berries are traditionally used to promote strength, endurance, and overall health. The antioxidants in Maqui berries provide protection for the body's cells, and may help maintain healthy levels of cholesterol and triglycerides.According to Andrew Carter, Quality Control Manager of NP Nutra, this Maqui Juice Powder has many possible applications, including functional beverages, smoothies, yoghurts, ice creams and baked goods. NP Nutra usually stocks this Maqui Juice Powder and other Maqui products at their new 26,000 square ft facility in Southern California.
