Emmi Roth is rolling out three varieties—Cheddar, Gouda and Whole Milk Mozzarella—of Roth Snack Cheese. Available in 6- and 10-count bags, each 0.75 oz. round portion contains 70 calories and 5g of protein.
“We’ve spent a lot of time discussing cheese and snacking trends with customers and consumers. Premium branded deli snacks have been stealing share from traditional dairy snacks for the past few years and the trend is continuing as consumers seek specialty items,” says Heather Engwall, director of marketing. “Roth Snack Cheese is that product for grocers looking to drive sales in their deli area. We created this new snack line to meet the needs of consumers looking for a high-quality, good-tasting snacking option. Each cheese has a unique, creamy texture and taste unlike any other snack cheese on the market. It’s made using all of the standards of our existing specialty cheeses that customers know and love, including the use of fresh, local rBST-free milk.
