International food show will be Oct. 10-14 in Cologne, Germany.

Anuga, a worldwide food fair for the retail trade and the foodservice and catering markets, will take place Oct. 10-14 at Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany. This biennial exhibition features 10 specialized trade show segments in one location.

Anuga brings together suppliers and top-decision makers in 10 key food segments: 1. Bread & Bakery, Hot Beverages, 2. Chilled & Fresh Foods, 3. Dairy, 4. Drinks, 5. Fine Food, 6. Foodservice, 7. Frozen Food, 8. Meat, 9. Organic and 10. RetailTec. The expo will include more than 6,800 exhibitors from more than 100 countries ready to do business with an expected 155,000 visitors from nearly 200 countries.

This year’s expo theme, Taste the Future, will enable attendees to gain insight to the future of the global food industry, including emerging flavor trends, packaging formats and convenience concepts. Organic foods will be an important part of the future.

The demand for organic products continues to grow worldwide, with the U.S. being the largest market, followed by Germany and France. Many organic suppliers, from finished foods to raw materials, will be exhibiting at Anuga. In addition to organic foods having their own hall, where more than 250 companies will exhibit, around 1,700 additional companies will exhibit organic products spread across the entire Anuga, which encompasses 284,000 square meters of exhibition space.

For the first time, Anuga is the setting for the ifood 2015--Innovation Food Conference. Every two years, the German Institute for Food Technologies organizes this international dialogue platform. This year, representatives from the fields of business, research and politics will discuss the themes of food production and world nutrition of tomorrow. This conference takes place Oct. 12-13 at the conference center in Koelnmesse.
