Plum Organics, the Emeryville, Calif.-based children’s nutrition company, recently was ranked No. 19 on Forbes magazine’s annual ranking of America's Most Promising Companies – a list of one hundred privately held, high-growth companies with bright futures.

Plum Organics also recently announced its acquisition of organic baby food maker Plum UK, which positions the company as a global provider. And former U.S. Senator Bill Bradley was named to its board of directors. The former senator, Olympian, NBA star and author brings more than 18 years of experience in public service with a passion for issues that impact the advancement of our nation's children, the company said.
