Gold Coast Ingredients Inc. received certification against International Food Standard (IFS) Version 5. The audit was conducted by the auditing firm DNV Business Assurance over a three day period. The IFS standard is benchmarked against the criteria of the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), managed by the Consumer Goods Forum and was established in 2000 to pursue continuous improvement in food safety management systems, cost efficiency in the supply chain and, above all, safe food for consumers worldwide. Certification provides evidence of the commitment of Gold Coast Ingredients to build and operate a management system capable of meeting these requirements.
