Keurig Dr Pepper Expands Partnership with Lavazza Group

Feb. 2, 2024
KDP will add retail and e-commerce sales and distribution of Lavazza K-Cup pods in the U.S. and Canada.

Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP) has expanded its partnership with Italian coffee company Lavazza Group to widen sales and distribution of Lavazza K-Cup pods and also offer K-Cup pods of the company’s Canadian brand, Kicking Horse Coffee, according to a release from KDP.

KDP will continue to source and manufacture Lavazza K-Cup pods exclusively, and it will add retail and e-commerce sales and distribution responsibilities in the U.S. and Canada. Lavazza and KDP have been partners since 2014. The partnership’s expansion opens new avenues for Lavazza and Kicking Horse Coffee to reach a wider audience across North America, the release said.

Lavazza was founded in 1895 and has been owned by the Lavazza family for four generations, and it has operations in 140 markets and eight manufacturing plants in five countries.
