Certified Origins will invest more than $30 million on new bottling plant and logistics center to open by 2024.

Certified Origins, a private-label olive oil company based in Italy, plans to invest more than $30 million on a new bottling and logistics center in Virginia by 2024.

The company states that the Newport News facility will receive high-quality olive oil imported in bulk from the Mediterranean area through the Port of Virginia, and it will offer co-packing services and tailored solutions to local and global retailers.

Certified Origins operates from multiple plants in Europe. It expects that the new bottling facility will bring opportunities in the supply chain as well as improved deliveries, and that it will allow for expanded product offerings.
