Peter Brown Joins Seaboard Foods as President and CEO

Brown will replace Darwin "Duke" Sand, who will be retiring effective January 1, 2021.

Seaboard Corporation announced earlier this week that it has brought on Peter Brown as President and Chief Executive Officer of Seaboard Foods. Brown will replace Darwin "Duke" Sand, who will be retiring effective January 1, 2021.

Seaboard Foods, which produces and sells fresh, frozen and processed pork to further processors, foodservice operators, retail outlets and other distributors in the United States, is part of the Seaboard Corporation. We reported earlier this year on the death of Seaboard Chairman/CEO Steven Bresky.

Prior to joining Seaboard Foods, Brown served as Chief Operating Officer of Butterball, LLC and prior to that, was President and Chief Operating Officer at High Liner Foods, a global seafood company.
