Functional ingredients manufacturer Beneo announced a price increase for its prebiotic fibers, inulin and oligofructose. The list price of these ingredients will increase by eight percent as of January 2012. According to the company, its inulin and oligofructose prices have remained stable for the past two years despite inflation as well as rising costs in energy and raw materials.
