Low-glycemic syrup provides slow-release sweetness
Cargill’s Sucromalt provides food and beverage customers with a natural, slow-release carbohydrate syrup. This fully digestible, low-glycemic syrup yields about 3 kcal/g versus sucrose’s 4 kcal/g. Sucromalt provides sweetness and body in one ingredient for products such as nutritional beverages and bars, ice cream, jams and jellies, and yogurts.
