SupplySide MarketPlace to take place in New York City April 30

March 28, 2013
The ingredients show will take place in New York's Javits Center through May 2.

Whether you still call it SupplySide East or SupplySide MarketPlace (its new name), the show will put an estimated 5,000 ingredients from 350 global exhibitors in front of attendees from the categories of Food & Beverage, Sports Nutrition, Animal Nutrition, Supplements, Cosmetics, Personal Care and Pharmaceutical.

The conference and exposition will be in New York’s Jacob Javits Center beginning April 30. That first day is devoted to short courses and GMP training (the latter presented by NSF and Virgo Health and Nutrition).

The conferences continue but the show floor opens May 1 (10:30 a.m.-5 p.m.) and May 2 (10:30 a.m.-4 p.m.). The featured speaker 9:45-10:30 a.m. on May 1 (a Wednesday) is Daniel Fabricant, director of the division of dietary supplement programs at FDA. May 2 features Mike Roizen, chief medical consultant for “The Dr. Oz Show,” 9:30-10:30 a.m.
