Almond flour contributes to the nutritional enhancement and expansion of formulation possibilities for many food products. The supplier claims it's nutritiously superior to other processed flours, with each quarter cup containing 6g protein, 3.5g fiber and 75mg of calcium, as well as mono-unsaturated good fats. Almond flour is low on the glycemic index, is naturally gluten-free and a good source of vitamin E. It's usable in a variety of applications, from cakes and crusts, to breading and sauces. The vendor offers three almond flour options: Extra Fine Natural, Extra Fine Blanched and Fine Blanched.
