The three new product concepts come in 16-oz. jars and 5.6-oz. pouches. Varieties are: Chocolate Hazelnut Spread with Probiotics and Flax, Organic Valencia Peanut Butter with Probiotics and Flax, and Roasted Almond Butter with Probiotics and Flax. The jars have a suggested retail price of $6.99-8.99, while the pouches sell for $2.99-4.99.
A 2-tablespoon serving of the GMO-free and dairy-free nut butters contains 180-190 calories, 14-17g fat, 5-8g protein and 2-4g fiber, depending on variety. The fiber comes from both the flax and added organic inulin. The flax contributes 384mg of alpha linolenic acid, an omega-3 fatty acid.
