Breakfast Foods Company Kodiak Adds New COO and VP of Product Development

Company looks to drive growth with new appointments and newly created vice president of product development position.

Kodiak, which produces high-protein, 100% whole-grain breakfast foods, has appointed Steve Katzenberger as its new chief operating officer and Sonali Dalvi to be vice president of product development — a new role for the company. Both executives will report directly to Val Oswalt, CEO of Kodiak, according to a release from the company.

Katzenberger most recently served as senior vice president, supply chain, for Campbell’s Soup Co., and also held top positions at Hearthside Food Solutions, Kraft Foods and other companies previously.

Dalvi will be Kodiak’s first-ever vice president of product development, bolstering Kodiak’s dedication to creating superior products, the company’s announcement noted. Dalvi has led R&D for brands such as Olam Food Ingredients, PureCircle, PepsiCo and Quaker Foods.
