Kevin’s Natural Foods Names New CEO; Co-Founders to Transition Out

Following acquisition by Mars and record sales in 2023, company making a change to continue to support the exponential growth of the brand.

Refrigerated and frozen meals company Kevin’s Natural Foods has announced that Roxanne Bernstein will take over the CEO role for the company, looking to support the brand’s continued growth following a period of record sales, the company said.

Bernstein brings 20 years’ experience in food and beverage, having held leadership positions with Kraft, Kellogg’s and Post. Most recently, she served as executive vice president and president of ACCO Brands.

Kevin’s Natural Foods saw record sales in 2023, growing by 50%, said Shaid Shah, global president for Mars Food & Nutrition, and expects Bernstein’s leadership style to continue to drive the next stage of growth. Kevin’s Natural Foods was acquired by Mars in July 2023.

Kevin’s Natural Foods co-founders Kevin McCray, Dan Costa and Kelsie Costa will move on from the company, although they will stay on through the end of June to ensure a smooth transition, the release noted. Bernstein will join Kevin’s Natural Foods in April, transitioning into the role of CEO by July 1, 2024.
