Chomps Meat Snacks Appoints Former PepsiCo Leader to be SVP of Operations
Chomps meat snacks has appointed Jason Dols to be its new senior vice president of operations, according to a release from the company, in response to the brand’s growth and increased need for operations management.
Dols brings more than 22 years of experience to Chomps, including 16 years in various leadership roles at PepsiCo, with brands including Gatorade, Quaker Foods, Naked Juice and Tropicana. He most recently served as vice president of supply chain for Party City.
Chomps’ decision to add Dols as the senior vice president of operations was calculated and intentional, the release said, and came in response to what co-founder and co-CEO Rashid Ali called “unprecedented growth in the last two years” for the company. Dols will develop and implement long-term operations and supply chain strategies while leading planning, procurement, manufacturing, quality, logistics and continuous improvement.
Chomps was founded in 2012 and aims to provide the healthiest on-the-go protein snacks without compromising on taste. All Chomps snack sticks are made with grass-fed and -finished beef, venison or antibiotics-free turkey.
