Hearthside Food Solutions, a contract manufacturer and producer of baked foods, snacks, nutrition bars, frozen, refrigerated, and fresh sandwiches/entrees, and a full-service provider of food packaging services, has announced that Nick Hewitt will be its new chief financial officer.
Hewitt brings more than 25 years of experience to Hearthside and is expected to fit in with the leadership team that is focused on driving innovation, providing superior customer service and building strong, lasting relationships with customers and suppliers, a company release stated. He takes over for interim CFO Dan Coats.
Hewitt most recently was executive vice president and CFO for Instant Brands. He has worked as director of finance in the food division for British retailer Marks and Spencer, and as CFO for North America for metal and glass packaging company Ardagh.
